On Wednesday September 1, Temple's Ambler Campus experienced widespread damage as a result of a tornado caused by Hurricane Ida.
Roofs were ripped from buildings, old-growth forests that once served as classrooms were flattened and gardens destroyed.
Fortunately there were no injuries, and in the aftermath of the storm, damage assessment and the process of rebuilding began immediately.
While the campus has been transformed overnight and the losses to infrastructure and student projects is tragic, we look at this event as an opportunity to create an even stronger Ambler, because, as Temple's motto states, Perseverance Conquers.
With a gift today, you can help Ambler get back on its feet, even as students come back to the classroom and maintenance crews work tirelessly to return the campus to a place of learning and reflection for the Temple community.
